Delicious apple toffee dip recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Cream cheese, softened: 8 ounces
  • Brown sugar: 1/2 cup
  • Granulated sugar: 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Toffee bits: 1/2 cup, divided
  • Sour cream: 2 tablespoons
  • Apples (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or your favorite): 2-3, cored and sliced
  • Caramel sauce: optional, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Step 2: Add the brown sugar and granulated sugar to the cream cheese and mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Step 3: Stir in the vanilla extract and sour cream until everything is evenly incorporated.
  4. Step 4: Gently fold in 1/4 cup of the toffee bits, reserving the other 1/4 cup for topping.
  5. Step 5: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of toffee bits over the top. Drizzle with caramel sauce, if desired.
  6. Step 6: Serve immediately with sliced apples for dipping. The dip can also be refrigerated for later use.

Notes

  • Keep the dip refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days, but the apples are best sliced fresh right before serving.
  • If the dip gets too firm after refrigeration, let it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes to soften slightly before serving.
  • For an extra special treat, try serving this dip with graham crackers or gingersnap cookies in addition to the sliced apples.
  • To prevent a grainy texture, make sure your cream cheese is fully softened before mixing and beat the sugars in thoroughly.
