Delicious frozen greek yogurt peanut butter bites with chocolate chips recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Greek Yogurt (plain or vanilla), 1 cup
  • Peanut Butter (creamy or chunky), 1/2 cup
  • Honey or Maple Syrup, 2 tablespoons
  • Mini Chocolate Chips, 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla Extract, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt, pinch
  • Coconut Oil (melted), 1 teaspoon (optional, for easier removal)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until everything is thoroughly combined and smooth.
  2. Step 2: Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips, distributing them evenly throughout the yogurt mixture.
  3. Step 3: If using, lightly grease a mini muffin tin with melted coconut oil. This will help prevent the bites from sticking. Alternatively, line the tin with mini muffin liners.
  4. Step 4: Spoon the yogurt mixture into the mini muffin tin, filling each cup almost to the top.
  5. Step 5: Place the muffin tin in the freezer and freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until the bites are solid and frozen through.
  6. Step 6: Once frozen, remove the bites from the muffin tin and store them in an airtight container in the freezer. Enjoy straight from the freezer!

Notes

  • For easy snacking, store these frozen bites in a freezer bag – they're less likely to stick together that way!
  • Since they're best enjoyed frozen, no reheating is necessary (or recommended!).
  • Serve these as a refreshing and healthy dessert alternative, or a post-workout snack for a protein boost.
  • Don't be shy with the peanut butter – a little extra adds richness and helps the bites hold their shape better in the freezer.
