Ingredients
- Refrigerated biscuit dough (1 can, 16 oz)
- Chicken sausage (4 links, cooked and sliced)
- Cream cheese (4 oz, softened)
- Shredded cheddar cheese (1/2 cup)
- Milk (2 tablespoons)
- Everything bagel seasoning (1 tablespoon)
- Dijon mustard (1 teaspoon)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, milk, and Dijon mustard until well blended.
- Step 3: Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly.
- Step 4: Spoon a small amount of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each biscuit, then top with a few slices of cooked chicken sausage.
- Step 5: Bring the edges of the biscuit dough up and around the filling, pinching to seal completely. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Step 6: Brush the tops of the biscuit bites with a little milk and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Notes
- Store cooled bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in a 350°F oven for 5-7 minutes, or until warmed through, to maintain a crispy biscuit.
- Serve these warm as a delightful appetizer, brunch item, or even a savory snack.
- For extra flavor, brown the sliced sausage in a pan before assembling the bites for a richer, caramelized taste.
