Ingredients

  • Ground beef: 1 pound
  • Taco seasoning: 1 packet
  • Ranch dressing: 1 cup
  • Catalina dressing: 1 cup
  • Shredded cheddar cheese: 2 cups
  • Doritos, nacho cheese flavor: 1 large bag
  • Shredded lettuce: 6 cups
  • Diced tomatoes: 2 medium

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Step 2: Stir in the taco seasoning with 1/2 cup of water according to the packet instructions. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed.
  3. Step 3: In a large bowl, crush about half of the bag of Doritos.
  4. Step 4: Add the lettuce, cooked ground beef, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese to the bowl.
  5. Step 5: Pour the ranch and Catalina dressings over the salad. Toss well to combine all ingredients.
  6. Step 6: Top with the remaining crushed Doritos before serving.
