- 1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 package (3 oz) raspberry gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Step 2: Prepare cake batter according to package directions using the white cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Step 3: While the cake is baking, dissolve the raspberry gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved, then set aside.
- Step 4: Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes. Use the handle of a wooden spoon or a fork to poke holes all over the cake, about 1 inch apart.
- Step 5: Slowly pour the dissolved raspberry gelatin over the cake, making sure it seeps into all the holes. Then, pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake.
- Step 6: Cover the cake and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the gelatin to set. Before serving, spread the thawed whipped topping evenly over the cake. Cut into squares and enjoy!

- This cake is best served chilled, so reheating isn't necessary; if you must, a very brief stint in the microwave (5-10 seconds) will soften the topping, but it's truly best enjoyed cold.
