- 1 (28-ounce) package frozen pierogi, thawed
- 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Spray the inside of your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the thawed pierogi, sliced kielbasa, and chopped onion. Stir well to mix.
- Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and black pepper until smooth.
- Step 4: Pour the soup mixture over the pierogi and kielbasa mixture in the bowl. Gently stir to coat everything evenly.
- Step 5: Pour the mixture into the prepared crockpot. Spread evenly.
- Step 6: Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top and let it melt.
Notes
- For easier cleanup, use crockpot liners – you'll thank yourself later!
- Reheat individual portions in the microwave for a quick and comforting lunch.
- Top with a dollop of extra sour cream and a sprinkle of fresh chives for a pop of flavor and color.
- Don't overcrowd the crockpot; if yours is small, halve the recipe for best cooking!
