Delicious vampire bite snack mix recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Pretzel sticks, broken into smaller pieces: 4 cups
  • Bugles: 2 cups
  • Dry Roasted Peanuts: 1 cup
  • Red M&Ms: 1 cup
  • Mini Marshmallows: 1 cup
  • Garlic Powder: 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Red food coloring: 5 drops

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the pretzel pieces, Bugles, peanuts, M&Ms, and marshmallows.
  3. Step 3: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, and red food coloring until well combined.
  4. Step 4: Drizzle the olive oil mixture over the snack mix, tossing gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
  5. Step 5: Spread the snack mix in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Step 6: Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until slightly toasted and dry. Let cool completely before serving or storing in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Store your spooky snack mix in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, keeping those "bites" crisp!
  • Reheating isn't recommended, but if you must, a very low oven (under 200°F/93°C) for just a few minutes can revive slightly softened mix.
  • Serve this fun mix in small coffin-shaped bowls or paper cups for an extra creepy touch at your Halloween gathering.
  • Don't be afraid to add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the oil mixture for a truly fiery "bite" that will keep the vampires away!
